NATIONWIDE FRP TANK SUPPLY – BUY DIRECT FROM OUR US STOCKS
There have been significant recent changes to Pentair’s distribution model, meaning many operators have found it hard to source replacement FRP media filter tanks. As a result, many other FRP tank suppliers, such as Clack and Hydronix, are feeling the pressure and are facing extended lead times due to overseas sourcing and low holdings of local stocks.
Envirogen bridges that gap by holding BOWNT MFT Series tanks in US stock – Memphis, TN; Houston, TX; and New Jersey – with nationwide shipping to projects across the United States. Our bulk purchasing approach ensures consistent supply and cost competitiveness, even during supply chain challenges.

FAQs
Have questions? Here are some of the most common things people ask before choosing the BOWNT MFT Series FRP media filter tanks. For additional technical information, you can download the official datasheet (PDF).
If you still have questions, contact us via the contact form, and our team will be happy to help.
I usually buy Pentair FRP media filter tanks – can Envirogen help if they’re unavailable?
Yes. Many buyers are currently finding Pentair tanks harder to source directly. Envirogen’s exclusive US distribution of the BOWNT MFT Series ensures dependable supply, competitive pricing, and immediate availability – helping fill the supply gap for industrial water projects nationwide.
Are BOWNT vessels NSF certified?
Not yet. NSF Certification for drinking water use is in progress, expected during 2026. Every OEM should understand that they need their whole system NSF-61 certified to use in drinking water applications. The polyethylene (PE) liner meets the required hygiene standard, but the manufacturing process has not yet undergone NSF certification.
What is the expected service life?
In typical permanent installations such as softeners or GAC filters, BOWNT MFT Series FRP media filter tanks are engineered to deliver over 20 years of reliable service. In high-mobility tank exchange applications, lifespan may be shorter due to handling and movement.
How quickly can you ship?
We hold US stock in Memphis, Houston, and New Jersey, enabling immediate dispatch and nationwide shipping to projects anywhere in the United States.
Can you provide custom-sized molds or special orders, and what is the lead time?
Standard BOWNT MFT Series models are stocked in the US for immediate dispatch. For special orders or custom-sized molds, the typical lead time is 8-10 weeks, depending on design complexity and factory scheduling. Our sales team can confirm availability and provide a firm timeline when quoting your custom configuration.
Are BOWNT vessels ASME certified?
No. ASME certification is not typically required for FRP media filter tanks in industrial water treatment applications. For projects where ASME is mandatory – such as certain municipal, federal, or regulated industry procurements – please consult our team so we can recommend a suitable alternative.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. All tanks are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty coverage. This is provided through a pass-through arrangement with BOWNT, with terms confirmed at the point of sale.
Can I purchase tank heads and internals with my order?
Yes – optional accessories, including tank heads and internal distribution systems, are available on request. Internals include the full internal distribution system (top and bottom distributors, riser tube, and related fittings) designed to ensure even water flow and media retention.
