Good Hope Hospital maintains endoscopy service with reverse osmosis hire unit

When the reverse osmosis plant (RO) supplying the endoscope reprocessing unit at Good Hope Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB), began to produce poor total viable count (TVC) results and with the existing plant becoming difficult to repair, UHB faced the dilemma of requiring a permanent replacement unit, while needing to maintain the endoscopy service for its patients with a temporary reverse osmosis hire unit.

July 13, 2021 – The US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) (Omaha District) and The United States Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC), in conjunction with Jacobs Engineering Group (Jacobs) and Bhate Environmental Associates, Inc., have contracted Envirogen Technologies to design, build, and install an active water treatment system to treat 1,4 Dioxane at an Air Force Base in Tennessee.
